American Audio XSP Powered Speaker ReviewOct 21, 2009 American Audio has always been conscientious of price when it comes to introducing new gear to the professional audio market. They do their best to engineer quality gear at a price point even the entry-level audio professional, such as the bedroom and mobile DJ or little Johnny who has a small garage band, can afford.

American DJ MyDMX Box of TricksSep 21, 2009 I can’t tell you that I am an expert at DMX, because I am not. I am the average mobile DJ like most of you and for the last 20 years I’ve used the traditional plug and play lighting that was quick and easy to setup. Using a switch box I would “set the scene” for each song I played and fell into the same routine. These past few years, boredom over took me and I wanted more. I wanted a way to take control of my lights and have them do something other than be turned on to run the same set program or be turned off. Enter DMX.

X Marks The Spot A Review Of The American DJ X-Series of LED LightingAug 5, 2009 The trend to go green is now mainstream and some DJs are really benefiting from it in ways they would never think about, the entrance of LED lighting into the world of dance clubs and DJing. For DJs, LED par cans and washes have been at an obtainable price point for years now, but the LED intelligent moving heads were always out of reach for most. Dymo Discpainter CD Labeler ExtraordinarMay 28, 2008 Having graduated from printed labels to an Epson R220 which prints direct on cdr discs, you can pretty much say I’ve been around a while. Born out of the need to remember exactly what I put on not dozens, but hundreds of discs scattered throughout my office, I have tried it all. Well, just about all that I could afford that is.

American Audio TT Record Keeping Music Memories SafeMay 21, 2008 Where can you find all those rare 12 inch remixes you used to play back in the day? You won’t find them on itunes, Amazon or at your local cd store (if you can find a cd store that is). I may be one of the few that can say this but, I can find them in my basement. Squirreled away like nuts waiting for a mid-winter feast, I have guarded my vinyl collection for over two decades.
