Gator G-Club DJ Bag ReviewNov 17, 2011 When we first heard that Gator was producing dj bags we were can little skeptical about how they would rise to the quality that Gator ATA and hard-side cases are known for. A good dj bag needs to withstand the rigors of travel while keeping a dj's equipment and accessories safe, but a great dj's bag must do that and be styling at the same time.
Scrim King Speaker Stand CoversAug 3, 2011 Here we are some 15 years later and DJs are even more conscious of how their gear looks. Scrim King just might have the answer to part of the problem. We were recently sent a pair of white (they also come in black) Skrim King speaker stand covers.

Arriba Stackable Rolling SeriesJun 30, 2011 It may be hard to believe but those cardboard boxes your lights arrived in three years ago were not meant to be transport cases. I know, I have done it too. I have purchased a new light or piece of gear and instead of dropping the money for a case, I figured, “Hey they shipped it in the box, it must mean it’s good enough to take it to events in the box.”
CHAUVET SlimPAR Pro RGBA Brilliant!May 31, 2011 As we enter this new age in lighting we are seeing a number of LED fixtures arrive on the scene. Some are geared for the entry level DJ, while others have their place in more of a stage atmosphere. Today we look at what could be a cross-over luminaire, the CHAUVET SlimPAR Pro RGBA LED. This is a well built light that is housed in a hefty aluminum shell that apparently acts as a heatsink, just in case the light gets hot, we ran it for 24 hours it barely got warm.
Blizzard RGBA Puck Review – Nothing Beats a Good BlizzardJan 23, 2011 Blizzard Lighting is a small company founded by Will Komassa that used to be a small blip on the DJ, show and event lighting radar that is making in-roads into this very frenzied and unforgiving market. DJzone Labs took the time to review their latest arrival, the RGBA LED Blizzard Puck and came out quite surprised at our findings.
American DJ Comscan LED ReviewSep 30, 2010 Having run a set of Comscan LED units for the last couple of months, I can safely say they add quite the “pop” to our lightshow. This was my first real experience with a mirror type scanner from American DJ. DMX, bright, clean, clear and low power consumption where the traits I was looking for in a new scanner light to add to my collection and I found it in the Comscan LEDs. With 10 watt LEDs, 8 gobos/colors and a long list of goodies it matched my want list 100%.

American Audio XSP Powered Speaker ReviewOct 21, 2009 American Audio has always been conscientious of price when it comes to introducing new gear to the professional audio market. They do their best to engineer quality gear at a price point even the entry-level audio professional, such as the bedroom and mobile DJ or little Johnny who has a small garage band, can afford.

American DJ MyDMX Box of TricksSep 21, 2009 I can’t tell you that I am an expert at DMX, because I am not. I am the average mobile DJ like most of you and for the last 20 years I’ve used the traditional plug and play lighting that was quick and easy to setup. Using a switch box I would “set the scene” for each song I played and fell into the same routine. These past few years, boredom over took me and I wanted more. I wanted a way to take control of my lights and have them do something other than be turned on to run the same set program or be turned off. Enter DMX.

X Marks The Spot A Review Of The American DJ X-Series of LED LightingAug 5, 2009 The trend to go green is now mainstream and some DJs are really benefiting from it in ways they would never think about, the entrance of LED lighting into the world of dance clubs and DJing. For DJs, LED par cans and washes have been at an obtainable price point for years now, but the LED intelligent moving heads were always out of reach for most. The first attempts at producing an affordable LED powered moving head were less than successful. When you viewed them on display, they were most always set five to six feet off the ground so they appeared to be bright.

The Galaxian Cleans Up After The StormJan 9, 2009 Everyone is out to add a little bit of laser to their show or club. The problem with traditional laser type lighting is that without a controller most are limited on their coverage. Enter a new series of laser lighting that creates a star field effect.
Dymo Discpainter CD Labeler ExtraordinarMay 28, 2008 Having graduated from printed labels to an Epson R220 which prints direct on cdr discs, you can pretty much say I’ve been around a while. Born out of the need to remember exactly what I put on not dozens, but hundreds of discs scattered throughout my office, I have tried it all. Well, just about all that I could afford that is.
American Audio TT Record Keeping Music Memories SafeMay 21, 2008 Where can you find all those rare 12 inch remixes you used to play back in the day? You won’t find them on itunes, Amazon or at your local cd store (if you can find a cd store that is). I may be one of the few that can say this but, I can find them in my basement. Squirreled away like nuts waiting for a mid-winter feast, I have guarded my vinyl collection for over two decades.
