Stanton DJ for Life has teamed up with the Involved Events organization to present a special New Year’s Eve charity auction tailored toward the dance music industry.
The Stanton DJ For Life: Get Involved New Year’s Eve auction, will be launched in cooperation with CI Host, and will feature VIP packages to New Year Eve shows, donated by some of the biggest names in the DJ world, such as Sasha, Paul Van Dyk, TiÑ‘sto, Sander Kleinenberg, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, The Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin, and over 50 others. The packages, which include highly sought after items such as VIP tickets to exclusive events and chances to meet and mingle with the DJs themselves, will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The New Year’s Eve auction will mark the first official event sponsored by the Stanton DJ for Life Global Awareness division.
“It is so important that we emphasize the complex meaning of our motto, ‘DJ for Life’, said Henri Cohen, VP of Sales and Marketing for Stanton Magnetics. “This phrase is not just about the commitment to the lifestyle, but about a cause. We think it is time to raise awareness within our community.”
Stanton felt that Involved was a perfect partner for their DJ for Life efforts.
“Stanton is thrilled to be joining forces with Involved Events on such an important and worthy cause, Continued Cohen. We believe that this program is the start of something unprecedented in the DJ community, and are honored to be a part of it.”
The Involved organization, founded and spearheaded by Steve Coe (father of world renowned DJ Sasha), made waves earlier this year in the dance music industry with a similar project to aid the victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.
The Stanton DJ For Life: Get Involved New Year’s Eve auction launches on December 20, 2005, and those wishing to bid on the once-in-lifetime opportunities may immediately do so at www.involvedevents.com
