Last year upon its debut, ULTRA.NY--with a live performance from the Chemical Brothers, plus DJ sets from Paul Oakenfold, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo and Timo Maas--sold out in advance, solidifying itself as the largest dance music festival to take place in the park. Wrote Justin Kleinfeld in Remix (November 2005), …partygoers had the choice bbetween Oakenfold on the main stage and Tenaglia in the Ultra tent. Capping off the night was a live set from the Chemical Brothers, when Ed Simmons and Tom Rowlands proved once again that nobody is even close to eclipsing their standard for live dance music.
Tickets for ULTRA.NY tickets are available for purchase online exclusively through www.ultranewyork.com or at Satellite Records located at 250 Bowery St. With a capacity of 5,000, the event is expected to sell out so early ticket purchase is highly recommended.
