With customized decks of Stanton turntables and mixers, Jim Beam Australia has kicked off their Jim Beam Scratch DJ Project - a road show that tours throughout Australia bringing the country’s best Scratch DJ talent and state-of-the-art equipment to the urban, inner-city bar scene.

“The Jim Beam Scratch DJ Project is a great opportunity for Australia’s urban club-goers to be treated to that country’s finest DJs,” says Pablo La Rosa, Stanton’s Marketing Manager. “We’re especially impressed by the incredible custom DJ systems that Jim Beam and Rockstar Management created for the event. The Stanton ST-150 turntables and RM406 mixer look very cool decked out in Jim Beam colors and logo imagery.”

Kicking off this summer in Sydney, the tour features high profile Australian talent, including DJ Nino Brown, DJ Samrai, and DJ Eko. While Jim Beam Australia has sponsored music tour events before, they have been previously focused on the country’s rock scene.

"As electronic and hip-hop music continues to grow in popularity and presence, Jim Beam is excited to announce our support for these forms of live music around the country," said Frank Cohen, Marketing Director, Jim Beam Brands Australia.

All DJs on the tour will be performing with some of Stanton’s finest products for serious turntablists. Stanton’s ST-150 offers a durable construction designed to minimize feedback, industry-leading torque motor - up to 4.5 Kgf-cm, and an ultra-stable platter and tone arm. Other features include Key Correction, Reverse, up to 50% pitch adjustment, and S/PDIF digital outputs. The RM.406 is Stanton’s top-of-the-line mixer for club and mobile DJs who want it all. A 4-channel, rackmount-style mixer, the RM.406 offers the company’s SST technology for pristine audio quality, diffused LEDs and lighted controls, an FX Loop, Booth and Subwoofer outputs, and a total of three Microphone inputs.
