CHAUVET employees and company owners officially kicked off the erection of its new, 65,000-square-foot worldwide headquarters on Saturday, Nov. 15.
In attendance at the event was Sunrise Deputy Mayor Roger Wishner, who congratulated company owners Albert and Berenice Chauvet.
Expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2009, the facility will house the company’s product development, sourcing, marketing, sales support, service, quality control and shipping operations.
CHAUVET began 18 years ago as a rope lighting manufacturing company and now, with a staff of 70, is a major innovator, developer and manufacturer, leading the professional entertainment lighting market in terms of design, flexibility and options. CHAUVET is also pursuing emerging “green” technologies in energy-efficient LED illumination. CHAUVET luminaires are sold through a global network of dealers and distributors.
