MIXED UP MUSIC SET TO LAUNCH UNIQUE DIGITAL DANCE MUSIC DOWNLOAD SITE

Published Mar 7, 2009

Mixed Up Music is set to launch it’s one of a kind digital dance music download site in March as they officially sponsor the 2009 Winter Music Conference held in Miami, which in its 24th year is still highly regarded as the only event of its kind in the dance music industry.

Mixed Up Music’s BETA release will officially launch on March 24, 2009. The site will offer users FLAC & MP3 downloads and is one of the only sites of its kind developed under the ASP .NET 3.5 Framework, utilizing Microsoft’s Silverlight 2.0 technology.
“It boasts a state of the art user interface design, utilizing sleek images and AJAX manipulation. It is Web 2.0 compliant and utilizes all the latest constructs and technologies for internet hosting,” says head programmer Isaac Amor. “Including ZFS file system for storage capacities exceeding an Exabyte, NLB web farming, and redundant database clustering.”

Mixed Up Music will offer a separate user dedicated “Indie artist” section to allow users to upload their own music. Aspiring producers will be able to upload, promote and have their music reviewed by others on the site. Users can browse, sample & purchase these tracks, and artists will receive a credit of 50% to use on the site.
“I would definitely participate. It is a great tool for marketing and label exposure when you’re just starting out. With the number of project studios these days, there are tons of great up and coming artists that aren’t yet able to get their music on the dance music sites.” says local drum and bass producer, and digital music downloader, Lindsay Fixx.

Mixed Up Music provides a vast range of digital dance music for the average listener, music collecting enthusiasts and the professional DJ & Performer, on an easy to use website with many unique features
