Martin Ego X6 More Than Just Another Creative Flower Effect

With the new Ego X6, Martin has raised its Ego series of high quality effects to the next level. The Ego X6 is a highly unique 250-watt light that projects colorful flower effects unlike any other effect light, and with DMX controlled simplicity.

 

This powerful deco effect light houses an effect wheel packed with new textured glass designs, as well as a combined color/twinkle effect that features new decoration and projection designs. The textured glass wheel adds depth and life to each gobo pattern. It is the perfect portable effect and decoration light for DJs, bands, clubs, bars and entertainment venues of all types.

 

A powerful 250-watt, 1000-hour halogen lamp (included) combines with a bidirectional parabolic reflector with highly reflective mirrors to give exceptionally bright projection. Top quality optics and precise manual focus adjustment produce extremely sharp and detailed projections with brilliant midair effects.

 

When fast set up and instant operation are a must, the Ego X6 also includes 12 inbuilt macros (slow, medium and fast) for fast programming. Besides the benefits of customized DMX control, the Ego X6 can operate in either auto or music trig mode. In trig mode, variable behavior tuning allows operators to adjust how aggressively the effect reacts to music.

 

Also included to the repertoire of effects is a variable strobe effect with 0–100% digital dimming and variable effect speeds on the parabolic reflector, the textured glass wheel rotation and the combined color/twinkle flag wheel. Rotation is continuous and smooth on all effects.

 

Like the other members of the Ego family, the Ego X6 is both lightweight and highly portable with a rugged, composite design that looks great in any rig. A convenient handle and lens protection ring makes it easy to transport and handle, and a switch mode power supply makes set up even more straightforward, anywhere in the world.
