French lighting manufacturer Ayrton has appointed Elation Professional as the exclusive United States distributor for its groundbreaking Easy Color moving head LED fixture. Elation, a member of the American DJ Group of Companies, will introduce the revolutionary Easy Color to the U.S. market at the 2003 LDI Show (Booth #1440), which will be held in Orlando, FL, November 21-23.

What makes the Easy Color unique is that it combines moving head technology with a Light Emitting Diode. This combination of a moving yoke’s sweeping rotation and LED brightness makes the fixture ideal for architectural, commercial and retail applications. Additionally, the Easy Color’s LED will show up vividly on videotape and film, allowing the fixture to be used with TV cameras.
“The Easy Color brings the excitement of moving head effects to a whole new market of end-users – such as architectural installations, interior designers, stores, ad agencies and video producers,” said Davies. “This fixture is a real breakthrough product, and it will create huge new marketing opportunities for special effects lighting.”
In addition to its unique combination of a moving head and LED, the Easy Color offers a number of other features that make it well suited for architectural, commercial and production use. The fixture includes RGB color mixing, which gives users 16.7 million color possibilities, as well as advanced electronic dimming.
