CHAUVET VUE™ III LED moonflower won the MMR Best Lighting Product award. Bestowed on a product introduced in 2007 and sponsored by the Music & Sound Retailer magazine, the award was announced at NAMM in Anaheim. It is determined by votes from music stores retailing lighting equipment.
The VUE™ III exemplifies CHAUVET’s lead in bringing LED technology to all sectors of the entertainment lighting, Vice President Berenice Chauvet said. Back in January 2007, CHAUVET engineers were the first to offer LED mid-air effects such as the VUE™ III, thanks to a specially conceived- and thereafter widely emulated- lens that opened a world of possibilities for DJs and lighting designers. “ We are thrilled and thankful that dealers and music stores took notice and recognized our leadership in LED technology,” CHAUVET VP Berenice Chauvet said.
This award caps a series of accolades garnered throughout the past year, including winning the Best Booth design award at LDI for an original and spectacular display that consisted solely of LED lights, under the theme “Green Thinking” and the 2007 Club World Award for Best Lighting Product with the Q-Spot™ 575. It also reinforces “CHAUVET’s commitment to bring innovative products that withstand the rigors of the road, are eco-friendlier, yet remain competitively priced,” Berenice Chauvet said, pointing to the company’s latest breakthrough, the world’s first LED-fitted moving MiN™ Spot, as another example of the manufacturer’s lead in LED technology.
