CHAUVET earns 2008 Crystal Disc DJ’s Choice Award

CHAUVET Lighting earned DJzone’s 2008 Crystal Disc DJ’s Choice Award for its COLORstrip LED-fitted linear wash light.

The COLORstrip was voted “Best Mobile DJ Light for 2008” by DJs subscribing to DJzone and its network of Web sites. The annual award is given to sound and lighting manufacturers whose products exhibit superior technical innovation for the mobile and club disc jockey industries.

The COLORstrip’s versatility, ease of use and light weight, of just 4.5 lbs., make it among CHAUVET’s top five sellers among mobile disc jockeys and bands.

Fitted with 384 long life LEDs, the 4-channel DMX fixture is designed for the serious programmer as well as the lighting novice. An optional LED-FS1 foot controller can be particularly helpful to musicians in need of hand-free control.

The COLORstrip also offers built-in programs with automatic and sound-activated triggers and allows access to popular preset RGB mixed colors – Cyan, magenta, yellow. The unit is equipped with pre-programmed flash, color chase, sequential color chase, color mixing and color fade patterns. Auto sensing capabilities keep lights firing in order.

The COLORstrip offers an easy-to-use control panel and can be daisy-chained in multiples. It comes with two pairs of differently sized brackets, giving users height options for different applications.
