MMR, a leading trade magazine serving music, lighting and sound retailers, recently honored American DJ at the 2010 NAMM Show in Anaheim by presenting the company with its Dealer’s Choice Award.
American DJ has won the prestigious award multiple times (far more than any other lighting company) over the past decade. The award is based on reader votes received by MMR magazine, which reaches over 8.000 dealers across the US.
“Dealers are in a unique position to tell us how well we’re doing as a supplier,” said Alfred Gonzales, National Sales Manager of American DJ. “They’re the ones who often hear about it first if there’s a quality issue with a product; and they’re also the first ones who can tell you how well a product is being received by end-users. So it means a great deal to us that American DJ has won the Dealer’s Choice Award with such regularity in recent years.”
For Gonzales, the award reaffirms that American DJ’s investment in research and development, along with its strict quality control standards have paid off. “It’s always nice to be recognized, “but the thing I like most about this award is that it shows us that our popular products like the Revo Series, X-Move Series, Accu Series, X-Move and new Vizi Series are not only popular, but are performing reliably too.”
