Neutrik® to Introduce New NP*X Series of Professional Phone Plugs at Winter NAMM 2005

Neutrik, an industry leader in the manufacturing of professional audio accessories, will feature a sleek new design for ¼" professional phone plugs at Winter NAMM 2005 in Anaheim (Booth #6225, Hall A). The NP*X series improves on the design of the existing phone plug by offering the thinnest available ¼" plug with unique Neutrik chuck type strain relief on the market today. The new plugs meet the most recent requirements for highest packing density, which is 15.88mm.

"With the introduction of the NP*X series, we’re meeting the demands of our customer base," stated Werner Bachmann, CEO of Neutrik AG. "We have received requests from our loyal customers asking for a slimmer, durable professional phone plug and we have achieved that with the NP*X."

In conjunction with Neutrik engineering innovation, the new sleek design was created by Mr. Andreas Batliner, an internationally-recognized industrial designer with Messrs. IdConnect. The new NP*X series has an improved chuck type strain relief, which offers higher cable retention force and the same reliability and features of Neutrik’s current NP*C phone plug series.

The slim NP*X phone plug is all metal and available in mono and stereo versions with nickel or gold-plated contacts and nickel, black or velour chrome housings.
