Neutrik® Unveils NC**XX Series XLR Cable Connectors at Winter NAMM 2005[Jan. 22, 2005] For more than a quarter of a century, Neutrik has designed and manufactured the industry standard in professional audio connectors — including the universally accepted, often imitated, but never duplicated "X" series XLR cable connector. Having already set the industry standard, Neutrik continues to offer innovative solutions to the audio industry. For the first time anywhere, Neutrik will unveil the next generation of XLR cable connectors — the NC**XX series — at Winter NAMM 2005 in Anaheim (Booth #6225, Hall A).
New Rm Series Mixers From Stanton At NAMM 2005[Jan. 22, 2005] As part of their massive 2005 product line update, Stanton has introduced three new mixers: the RM.406, the RM.404 and the RM.402. The new mixers will be available nationwide through Stanton’s authorized retailers.
Stanton Introduces C.504 And C.503 Dual Cd Players At NAMM 2005[Jan. 22, 2005] The new C.504 is Stanton’s flagship dual CD player. It consists of a two-space CD player and a compact 3U rackmount controller with large jogwheels that provide turntable-style control. A newly-designed, highly reliable anti-shock buffer on the C.504 eliminates embarrassing CD “skips”. The C.504 plays back both standard CDs and MP3 encoded discs (on CD-R or CD-RW format), with the ability to pitch bend and change tempo while using effects.
Neutrik® to Introduce New NP*X Series of Professional Phone Plugs at Winter NAMM 2005[Jan. 21, 2005] Neutrik, an industry leader in the manufacturing of professional audio accessories, will feature a sleek new design for ¼" professional phone plugs at Winter NAMM 2005 in Anaheim (Booth #6225, Hall A). The NP*X series improves on the design of the existing phone plug by offering the thinnest available ¼" plug with unique Neutrik chuck type strain relief on the market today. The new plugs meet the most recent requirements for highest packing density, which is 15.88mm.
NAMM 2005 Jbl Professional’s Vrx932la[Jan. 20, 2005] Bringing the tour-sound-proven versatility and performance of its VERTECâ Series line array to performers and smaller venues, JBL Professional today introduced the new VRX932LA portable line array system. The VRX932LA is a compact 12-inch, two-way line array loudspeaker designed for use in arrays of up to six units. Each speaker has a 15-degree (nominal) vertical coverage angle. This means that a single enclosure or arrays consisting of 2 or 3 speakers can provide practical vertical coverage.

AKG Shows WMS 400 At NAMM[Jan. 20, 2005] The WMS 400 is the first wireless microphone system to offer setup time that is comparable to hardwired systems. An automatic frequency selection function inside the SR400 Diversity Receiver scans the crowded wireless spectrum, quickly identifying interference-free channels. The transmitter’s frequency is set “auto-magically” via an infrared data link, and in less than one minute, the WMS 400 is ready to use.
