American Audio Unveils DLS-15P Self-Powered Speaker System

American Audio has introduced a self-powered 15-inch speaker that will lighten any performer’s gear-hauling load without lightening their wallets. The company has unveiled the DLS-15P self-powered speaker system, which successfully combines a 300-watt amplifier, professional 15” 2 way speaker, and a 3-channel mixer with EQ in an intelligently designed package.

 

The DLS-15P’s built-in amplifier system powers a booming die-cast woofer and high-compression 1.75-inch driver to deliver pristine sound with enough volume for just about any event. Best of all, with an extremely low suggested retail price of just $419.95, the DLS-15P offers DJs and bands a tremendous value for the dollar.

 

The DLS-15P 3-channel mixer section accepts XLR, ¼ inch and RCA line inputs. Three Microphone / Line inputs and even a stereo RCA input allow flexible input solutions for just about any situation. Treble, bass controls on the output and main volume controls (with a dedicated line out) let users balance the speaker’s overall output for optimum sound quality and maximum punch.

 

Trapezoidal in design, the versatile DLS-15P comes with floor brackets that allow it to double as a stage monitor. The unit can easily be flown or mounted on a speaker stand, making it ideal for both permanent installations and bands on the run.
