Waves Expands Convolution Reverb Series
[Nov. 8, 2004] In a bid to position itself as the new leader in sampled reverb software, Waves Ltd. today announced a major expansion of its IR Convolution Reverb plug-in series. Introduced today are IR-360, for multi-channel surround sound; IR-1 Version 2, which now lets users capture their own samples; and IR-L, an entry-level light version offering simpler controls. Korg Begins Shipping TP-2

Jerry Harrison Remixes Two Classic Talking Heads Records In 5.1 Surround With Waves Plug-Ins
[Oct. 1, 2004] Speaking in Tongues (1983) and Remain in Light (1980), two of the classic LPs that comprise the rich musical legacy of Talking Heads, have been remixed in 5.1 surround sound by original band member Jerry Harrison and engineer/mixer Eric “E.T.” Thorngren.
