Extron Electronics' MTP T 15HD RS Transmitter and MTP R 15HD RS Receiver are compatible with resolutions up to 1600 × 1200 (UXGA) and support bi-directional serial communication. They are ideal for use where long distance cable runs (up to 500') are required, such as point-of-sale, digital signage, and kiosk applications. The MTP T 15HD RS and MTP R 15HD RS precisely optimize image quality for various UTP cable lengths, using adjustment controls on both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter features a pre-peaking switch that provides additional compensation at the front end for the longest cable runs. The receiver offers individual variable gain and peaking controls, allowing users to dial in the exact amount of gain and peaking required for each unique cable run. The MTP transceivers are designed for easy integration into new and existing A/V environments, and can fit just about anywhere: in racks (up to four in a single 1U rack), under tables and desktops, or next to a projector. http://www.extron.com
