The Stanton Group, which is a leading audio equipment company operating Stanton Magnetics, Cerwin Vega! and KRK Systems, is proud to announce the addition of Chris Penney as UK Product Specialist for Stanton DJ and Cerwin Vega. Based in Southampton, UK, Chris’ primary responsibilities will include product training, store demonstrations and being the technical information source for all Stanton Group brands. The hiring of Chris to the management team will help increase Stanton’s support to their dealers, directly impacting the effectiveness of Cerwin Vega! and Stanton DJ’s sales efforts. In addition to the new position, Stanton UK will increase their presence by adding an additional warehouse in Southampton. The facility will be used for storing training, demonstration and marketing materials and stock.

“Chris is the perfect addition to the Stanton UK team; his extensive background and knowledge of our brands and initiatives certainly ensure his success,” said Stanton Group CEO Tim Dorwart. “We believe his role will increase operational efficiency and in turn lead to growth in our bottom line,” added Dorwart.

Chris was selected by the Stanton Group for this position because of his broad knowledge of the MI industry and the Cerwin Vega and Stanton DJ product lines. “The opportunity to be a part of such a world-class organization is a tremendous honor. I’m excited help improve Stanton Group’s international dealer and customer experience,” remarked Chris.

Prior to joining the Stanton Group, Chris gained over twelve years experience as a working DJ and has spent the last seven years as a sound and light engineer. Chris’ professional experiences include full audio installations, system programming and the maintenance and servicing of large scale PA and lighting systems.
