Cerwin-Vega Appoints Devins

Simi Valley, CA (August 7, 2003)--John Devins has joined Cerwin-Vega as national sales and marketing manager for professional products. Cerwin-Vega president David Rice made the announcement.

"We're extremely pleased to have an individual with John's talent and experience onboard," says Rice. "His 17 years of sales and marketing know-how in professional audio, from retail to independent representation and management positions with major manufacturers will serve him well in the position of national sales and marketing manager."

Devins joins Cerwin-Vega after spending the last two years serving as national sales manager at Steinberg Media Technologies. The four years prior to that he was the principal at Devins & Associates, an independent manufacturers rep firm located in the Mid-Atlantic region. Devins also spent four years with Alesis Corporation in the capacity of a sales representative prior to being promoted to regional sales manager. His experience in the industry began in retail in 1985 where he worked for both Guitar Center and Professional Sound & Music in San Diego.
