Simon Allan Returns to Martin UK

Former Martin Professional PLC employee Simon Allan has rejoined the company as Product Manager for the Stage, Studio & Event segment, which includes Martin's popular MAC range of moving heads. Simon's responsibilities also cover Martin's growing range of lighting controllers, including the newly released Maxxyz lighting console.

Simon has ten years of experience in the lighting industry and returns to Martin UK after 3 years as Technical Manager at moving light rental company Set Lighting & Sound Ltd. Prior to that he was employed at Martin UK as a Technical Support Engineer, working on various onsite projects, as well as conducting training courses and helping to run the Martin University.

Simon commented on the new position, "I'm glad to be back with Martin after being away for three years. A lot has happened here in that time including the establishment of the MAC 2000 range and the launch of the new Maxxyz controller. I am looking forward to the new challenge."
