Two New Models Join Vestax's Mixer/CD Console Line

DJ/professional audio products manufacturer Vestax announces the latest additions to its line of mixer/CD console products with the new CDX-16 dual CD mixing console and PCV-180 mixer.

The CDX-16 represents an alternative to traditional CD players by allowing users to create their own mix. The , dual CD console includes a digital display, fine pitch control fader with +/-10% range, plus a quartz-locked pitch controller with +/-8 or 16% range. Pitch bend and scan/search functions are on a joystick for rapid adjustment, fast find, and rapid cue capability. Buffer memory and an anti-vibration mechanism eliminate skipping and jumping.

The 2-channel mixer section offers a 2-band EQ and CD, phono and line inputs, plus a microphone-level input. Outputs include mono and stereo mix outputs, line level, and headphone outputs. The crossfader is user replaceable. The CDX-16 weighs 16.53lbs, is 17.4" (W) x 11.38" (H) x 3.5" (D), and lists at $999

The PCV-180 is a stylish, 3-channel mixing console that is designed for techno, house and drum 'n' bass DJs. It features a 3-band isolator with proprietary Vestax "infinity cut" circuitry, an advanced effects routing section with selectable pre/post/off insertion and comprehensive headphone/monitor features for reliable cueing in either split or stereo modes. 3-band program EQ is complemented by 2-band EQ on the mic channels.

The PCV-180 includes five line inputs, plus three mic ins and a stereo effects return. The CF-PCV crossfader is user-replaceable. The PCV-180 weighs 15.43lbs and measures 13" (W) x 3.5" (H) x 16" (D). List price is $649.
