QSC Audio Products, Inc., a world leader in commercial audio systems
and widely recognized throughout the cinema industry as "The
Power Behind the Pictures", recently announced its intention to
enter the residential install and studio equipment markets. At the
forefront of this initiative are the new SRA Series power amplifiers.
Inspired by QSC's
industry-leading DCA (Digital Cinema Amplifier) Series amplifiers,
the new SRA Series power amplifiers draw upon the company's expertise
in switching power supplies and include the popular DataPort for
integration with optional crossover and DSP modules such as the
company's popular DSP-4 digital signal processor. QSC's highly
regarded switch mode power supply technology enables the SRA
amplifiers to weigh considerably less than conventional transformer
driven models while also occupying less rackspace. Further, this
technology delivers crystal-clear, seat-shaking sound designed to add
that extra realism to any theater or studio environment. With power
ranging from 215 watts/channel @ 8-ohms all the way through 725
watts/channel @ 8-ohms, the three SRA models include the SRA 1222,
SRA 2422, and the SRA 3622.
