Hoover Dam
Hoover Dam is one of the Bureau
of Reclamation's multipurpose projects on the Colorado River. Hoover
Dam's authorized purposes are: "flood control; improvement of
navigation and regulation of the Colorado River; storage and delivery
of Colorado River waters for reclamation of public lands and other
beneficial uses exclusively within the United States; and
hydroelectric power production."
Wet' n Wild - Water Park
Enjoy more than a dozen thrilling
water rides, including the Royal Flush, the Black Hole, Der Stuka
water chute, and the more sedate Lazy River. Open daily through Sept.
10, then weekends only until Oct. 1.
