Bright and early
this morning, NAMM kicked off another successful Summer Session in
Nashville, Tennessee. The century-old association expects more than
19,000 attendees to pack the Nashville Convention Center and the
adjoining Gaylord Arena over the next three days. The show brings
together retail music store buyers wanting to stock up for the
holidays and the coming year with music product manufacturers anxious
to show off their wares.
Nearly 600
exhibitors from around the world came to Music City USA for the NAMM
Show. In addition to filling three levels of the Convention Center,
the floor of the Gaylord Arena was lined with Pro Audio and Lighting
displays. During the show, NAMM offers its members free educational
sessions, the opportunity to meet with the association's discount
service providers and complimentary consultations with market
development professionals to help them create tomorrow's customers.
"NAMM is
always working to grow our industry," says the association's new
President and CEO, Joe Lamond. "We hope that everyone comes away
with some good ideas, products and programs that will help their
businesses to succeed when they go back home." Open Video Clip
