Crown Audio
announces the Summer NAMM launch of its Power-Tech.1 Series of
amplifiers. Ideal for musicians and mobile DJs alike, the line
represents a stellar combination of performance, reliability and value.
All three models -
the Power-Tech 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 - feature a two-rack-space design.
The front panel sports recessed level controls along with signal
presence and IOC (Input/Output Comparator) indicators for immediate
and accurate performance information. ODEP (Output Device Emulation
Protection) circuitry protects the amplifier under the most severe
conditions, while DC and fault protection safeguard the product
should potentially damaging conditions occur.
Rear-panel input
connectors include both dual balanced 1/4-inch TRS and XLR jacks,
with output connections made via a pair of five-way, touch-proof
binding posts. A three-way input sensitivity switch
(0.775V/1.4V/26dB) allows each Power-Tech.1 to flexibly handle any
application, while a forced air fan maintains a temperate operating environment.
"The
Power-Tech.1 Series puts the enviable Crown sound at a price point
that most anyone in the music industry can afford," says Bob
Lichty, Crown Audio music industry market manager. "These amps
are engineered to provide high power handling with lots of low end
and extremely minimal distortion (<0.1% at rated output that
musicians have demanded). And, given the fact that they're Crown
amps, they're built to perform reliably in the most exacting and
abusive applications."
Like all of
Crown's amplifiers, Power-Tech.1 products are backed by the
manufacturer's industry-exclusive Three-Year, Transferable, No-Fault,
Full Warranty.
