Vocopro has introduced the Rave karaoke system. A top-loading CD+Graphics player, the Rave displays formatted lyrics when connected to a TV monitor and features four two-way high output stereo speakers.

"Some people think that a karaoke machine is a huge investment that only adults will enjoy," said L.J. Janosik, vice president of sales at VocoPro. "The Rave is hip enough for crooners of any age but comes with a price tag that everyone can sing to."

The system has two microphone inputs with separate volume controls that enable two singers to harmonize and jam together. Four sound-field music settings-rock, pop, classic and flat-let each singer fine tune their individual listening preferences. Dual cassette decks allow users to play and record an original and personal mix of music.

At a compact 12"x9"x22;' the Rave fits easily into small spaces. Pre-out jacks connect it to any sound system for a bigger sound and easy expansion. It carries a suggested retail price of $299.
